The other day I came across this beautiful poem by a Czech writer. It reminded me of a brief moment, when I stopped to watch seagulls criss-crossing the morning sky. Lost in time, I forgot about everything else around me and enjoyed the stolen moment of freedom...
Don’t take off until you believe in the wings
When it comes, look directly above you
Set off and climb ever higher
Until the thin air cleans out your mind
Then press your wings to your body
Enjoy the descent
Don’t spread them
And welcome to freedom
