Day 326 of 366: City Lights

Sometimes I like looking at the world around me with my eyes half closed. All the familiar scenes and subjects then change into colours, shapes and patterns, and the busy city streets at night turn into a colourful kaleidoscope.

I rather liked the melancholy of the empty picnic tables, deserted on a cold and rainy November evening, when hot summer nights resounding with lively conversations and happy laughter were only a distant echo of the past.
