The day Martin and I started the Cotswolds Way, a 100-mile long distance walk from Chipping Campden to Bath. It winds its way through quintessentially English countryside and quaint little market towns with traditional thatched cottages. It is probably the best time of the year for it, as the days are long and warm, and the sun shows the countryside in its best light. The towns are perhaps a little bit too busy, but it is easy to walk away from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy beautiful views away from the crowds.
