I decided to make August an iPhone only month. I needed a break to give myself some time to catch up with all processing, writing and posting. I couldn't do it while taking more pictures every day. I figured out that with the phone I can process the pictures anywhere I am and save time at home for the rest of my project.

My first picture of the month has a little bit of me in it - my favourite shoes, and a flower at my feet.

It is quite liberating to walk around with the phone and capture just ordinary details that you normally walk by without noticing. It is almost like getting new eyes.
