From the outside the hotel looks quite ordinary. Like any other of the Premier Inn chain hotels. However this one has quite a beautiful spiral staircase. When I walked in and started to take pictures, one of the hotel guests stopped and said "not a lot of people here notice this beautiful view". I guess not a lot of people take the stairs or look up. It's always worth it though. You never know how a seemingly ordinary place can surprise you.

First time I visited London's Docklands I was fascinated. That feeling hasn't changed over the years. I still find it to be an inspiring place, and I love revisiting it now and then.
