I have no idea what possessed me to walk over 13 miles in my sketchers, no water or food, but I did. And I am glad I didn't give up. I enjoyed the day by the lake, no matter the blisters, thirst and hunger. Lovely day with some wonderful views.
I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.
William Butler Yeats
