2021 Week 29: Jasmine And Thunderstorms

Thunderstorms bring a welcome relief from the summer heat. They leave the air fresh and clean and everything sparkling with raindrops.

That afternoon I was standing in our garden, listening to the thunder in the not so far distance and enjoying the beautiful jasmine fragrance lingering in the rain. I so wished I could capture all that with my camera.

From plants that wake when others sleep, from timid jasmine buds that keep their odour to themselves all day, but when the sunlight dies away let the delicious secret out to every breeze that roams about.
