This week Martin and I decided to walk the River Wey Navigation. The 20-mile canal towpath along the river Wey connects Godalming with the river Thames at Weybridge. It is a serene and peaceful river meandering through classic English countryside with 300 year history of barge transport and canal infrastructure.
We walked all the way to Weybridge, where we took the ferry to Shepperton to get us closer back to home. It was a long walk, but we enjoyed spending the day together. And I managed to sneak a few photos along the way. What a lovely way of spending a sunny summer's day.
