Since Martin and I finished walking The Thames Path last year, I never stopped missing the river and our quiet walks along its banks. Thankfully we live close by, so we can easily go back and repeat some of the sections that are more accessible for us. This week we decided to take a train to Windsor and walk back to Shepperton. The morning was glorious and we definitely made most of the weather we had. I am really glad that we are both early birds because later on the weather changed for much worse. We had our lunch in a typical English way, when you find a nice spot, preferably a bench, and enjoy a lovely cup of tea, a sandwich and a cake, whether it's sunny or raining cats and dogs. I couldn't wish for a better day.
