The Arena Photographers Exhibition 2015

Earlier this year I have been invited to join the Arena Photographers group. It is a real privilege for me to meet and share my passion with a group of such extremely talented and well established photographers. I appreciate all the encouragement and support that the members give out, and am grateful for the wide knowledge they kindly share.

The group meets five times a year to talk about new work, to show prints and discuss all things photography. They also invite speakers from different photographic backgrounds who excel in their artistic fields.  I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to be a part of such a supportive and friendly group. One of the opportunities that the group provides is to show our work at joint exhibitions. This year's exhibition takes place in The Grant Bradley Gallery in Bristol, a beautiful space with high ceilings and a lot of light, ideal for showcasing art. The exhibition starts on Saturday the 10th October and it is on until the 28th November.

Here are a few phone snaps from the opening night. It was a wonderful evening, when I got a chance to catch up with some of the Arena members and to see their beautiful work displayed on the gallery walls. The exhibition is definitely an opportunity not to be missed.

For my contribution I have decided to show some of my seascapes, as the coast is my biggest photographic passion. The coastline of England has a very special place in my heart since I first saw the White Cliffs of Dover, therefore I have chosen images taken on the English shores.
