One third of my 366 Challenge is over. What a great month again, packed with wonderful experiences. My partner Martin and I spent another beautiful day walking on the South Downs Way. I had a great weekend in Devon with my photographer friends Sue Bishop and Linda Wevill, and at the end of it Sue and I had a presentation at the South West Visual Arts group of the Royal Photographic Society. Another enjoyable weekend in Exmoor with the hiking club that Martin and I are members of. A great meeting with our Arena Photographers group members and a lovely evening with the members of Steyning Camera Club. Together with a fantastic photographer Guy Aubertin we had a presentation at the opening of the Connected Exhibition on the last day of the month. This is just to name a few. You can read more details about what I was up to by clicking the links below.
The whole month was marked by real April weather, which created some wonderful atmospheric conditions. Sunshine mixed with showers, storms and even hail and snow. What else could a photographer wish for?
April, April,
Laugh thy girlish laughter;
Then, the moment after,
Weep thy girlish tears!
April, that mine ears
Like a lover greetest,
If I tell thee, sweetest,
All my hopes and fears,
April, April,
Laugh thy golden laughter,
But, the moment after,
Weep thy golden tears!
Sir John William Watson
